My Lord,

I have the honour to report that I have

granted to Mr. Arthur Chapman, Aesessor of Rates, a pension

at the rate of £488. 58. 7d. per annum with effect from the

5th October, 1920, and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to issue payments to him as they become due.

I have also granted him prior to his retire-

ment from the service four months' leave of absence on full

pay to commence on the 5th June, 1920.
